Screening Policy

Branksome Swim requires all participants/spectators to self screen, and anyone who is feeling unwell or symptomatic from any illness should not come to campus, but we will no longer require proof of screening as part of our entry conditions.

Spectator Policy

Branksome Swim permits parents/caregivers to support their active participant(s) in the transition to their lessons and in pool change rooms at the end of aquatic activities. The accompanying adults will not be permitted on the pool deck but will be able to remain in the main and lower level observation areas for the duration of the lesson. Spectators are not permitted in the kitchen servery and dining hall to reduce contact with our boarding students and other user groups. We are a mask friendly environment but masks aren’t required.

Pool Deck Policy

Branksome Swim does not permit the use of cell phone cameras or any other recording devices on the pool deck and/or in the change rooms to protect the privacy of our participants and caregivers. For the same reason, we also ask that spectators refrain from taking photographs or videos from the viewing galleries and pool observation areas.

Make-Up Lesson Policy

If you are unable to make your lesson, please send an email to swim@branksome.on.ca before your class starts. We are happy to accommodate (1) make-up lesson per session, given there’s space available to do so.

Unattended classes without prior notice will not be granted a make-up opportunity.

Make-up lessons will not be scheduled on the first or last week of classes and are subject to availability of instructors.  These lessons are not guaranteed to be with the same instructor. It is not an expectation for these make-up instructors to evaluate the swimmers as this is only an opportunity to get a swim back.

Once a make-up lesson is booked, it will be considered used. If you cannot make it to the assigned make-up class, there will not be a replacement.
